The Hanging of Ajmal Kasab "The Butcher"- A Jyotisha/ Vedic Astrology Evaluation

THE HANGING OF AJMAL KASAB "THE BUTCHER"-A JYOTIṢA (JYOTISHA)/ VEDIC ASTROLOGY EVALUATION:

Ajmal Kasab was hanged till death in Pune, India on 21.11.2012 at 7:30 AM for carrying out the terrorist attack on 26.11.2008 in Mumbai. Known as "the butcher", he met his fate at a certain astrological time. Let us see the Rāśi Cakra (Rashi Chakra) for the time of hanging and the Navāmśa as well.

The most remarkable factors in this Rāśi (Rashi) can be seen from the Lagna itself. The most diabolical sign of the zodiac rises and the 4th from it, showing the heart is also the natural Bādhaka (Badhaka) Kumbha/ Aquarius. Scorpio is the 8th House of the zodiac and shows the hidden and the concealed. It is the hiding place of all that is venomous-snakes and scorpions find shelter here.

Rāhu (Rahu) shows the hangman's noose and also a beheaded person because Rāhu is only a head without a body. Rāhu (Rahu) in the Lagna and Ketu in the 7th House show the head and body separated or the spine broken. Ravi in the Lagna shows a political power oriented crime and punishment and that the leadership of the country has ordered the hangman to do what is to be done. This hanging is as per the Orders of the judiciary as Gurū (Guru) (Judiciary) also aspects Lagna.

The Lagneśa Maṅgala (Lagnesha Mangal) is in the Māraka Bhāva (Maraka Bhava) in the 2nd House and receives the 12th Bhāva aspect of Rāhu confirming the fact of hanging to death. Dhanuṣa Rāśi (Dhanusha Rashi) indicates fall from a height. In this case it is only a minor height but it is enough since the ground beneath the feet is knocked away and furnishes sufficient height.

The 3rd Bhāva from the Ārūḍha Lagna (Arudha Lagna) shows the place of death. The Ārūḍha Lagna (Arudha Lagna) (AL) is in the Karma Bhāva/ Bhava in the 10th House showing fame (public awareness of his death)-this is really not fame but ignominy and shame as the glorious Sun/ Ravi is eclipsed by Rāhu (Rahu) and its Tāmasic (Tamasic) darkness.

The 3rd Bhāva from the AL is the 12th Bhāva from the Lagna showing seclusion through hospitals and jails. Kasab was hanged in the Yerawada gaol in Pune, India. The Rāśi (Rashi) here is Tulā (Tula) / Libra the sign where Ravi is Nīca (Neecha)-where the Sun showing Order and light (Ṛta) sets and where rebirth occurs. Tulā/ Tula is the natural Māraka (Maraka) for the Lagna and here we have the 7th and 8th Lords Śukra (Shukra) and Budha joined, ending (7th) of the longevity (8th) and the end of life (12th). Śani (Shani) is exalted here showing sin accompanying the death.

It is confirmed that the mind of the terrorist was and is in Narka (hell) as the Bhāgyeśa (Bhagyesha) or the 9th Lord Cañdra (Chandra) is in the 8th Bhāva (Bhava) from itself in Maraṇa Kāraka Sthāna (Marana Karaka Sthana or MKS), the worst possible placement. This was a homicidal maniac (zealot) killing in the name of religion (Karkaṭa (Karkata) is the 9th Bhāva (Bhava) of religion!).

The Lagna is Vargottama showing that what is happening (hanging) is of direct import to life (Lagna) namely that the life is coming to an end. The Māraka Śukra (Maraka Shukra) is in Lagna in the Navāmśa (Navamsha) and the Sun in the 10th House showing that actually it is not the hand of the leaders that has delivered the physical blow (obviously) but that the orders of the government have led to this.

The Lagneśa Maṅgala (Lagnesha Mangal) comes to the 8th House with the retrograde 8th Lord Budha and the future (5th Lord Gurū/ Guru) has also come for its cessation here. The future has ended.

The nodes are in the 3-9 axis showing the breaking of the neck.

A BRIEF LOOK AT THE TWELVE LAGNAS/ ASCENDANTS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

People are often curious at the beginning of their astrological quest, to know something of the various facets pertaining to their ‘chart’; in other words, they wish to evaluate the basic propensities pertaining to their Lagnas and their Rashi/ Lagna Kundalis (Kundalis). Also, the Chandra Lagna itself and Gochar furnish other popular areas of curiosity. Lagna is the sign rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of birth and is occupied by a Rāśi (Rashi)/ Vedic sign. The average duration of a sign rising in the Lagna/ Ascendant is two hours and for this reason the twelve Rāśis cover the twenty-four hours duration of the solar day. ( Basic Jyotiṣa principles can be accessed by clicking this link ) Lagna imbues a person with individuality and therefore denotes the self and the personality of the person. It is the first house or Bhāva of the chart and is the commencement point of any horoscopic study. We cannot forget that in all the divisional charts as well there is a Lagna/...

Vedic Astrology: The Charakaraka Replacement and Its Impact

At its deepest core Jyotiṣa is at the driving centre of all Karma. Just like life, if properly appreciated as it must, it has the status of a full-scale on-going project of immense magnitude. Karma and Soul : The Lagna and the Bhavas reckoned from the Lagna in the Rāśi Chakra indicate the physical manifestation of life. In the Varga Chakra the Lagna and the Bhāvas indicate the personality and realities of that specific environment. When we speak of Karma we inevitably speak of the soul as it is the soul which must carry and exhaust the Karma through rebirth. Charakāraka - Matters pertaining to the soul are studied and deciphered through the Charakāraka in Vedic Astrology. The Charakāraka are the temporal significators (Naisargika Kāraka) for various matters at the level of the soul and the Karma. The Charakāraka are decided on the basis of longitude of arc traversed by the planets including minutes and seconds of arc, and sometimes fractions of seconds of arc. The Eight Cha...
