Sanjay Dutt Sentenced to Five Years in Prison by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India

SANJAY DUTT SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON BY THE HON'BLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA ON 21st MARCH, 2013-

If you refer to the transit chart extracted immediately above, we can proceed to evaluate some of the factors associated with the upholding of the conviction rendered in respect of Sanjay Dutt.

Dutt is reported to have been born in Scorpio Lagna/ Vṛṣcika (Vrishchika). Āli is considered to be even worse than Kumbha/ Aquarius as far as rising signs go for the reason that not only does the intelligence and the power of discrimination get afflicted with major Kārmic (Karmic) baggage, all of one's own making, but always there will be a burning in the conscious mind similar to that caused by the sting of the scorpion.

It is considered to be worse than Kumbha as a Lagna because in this case even the heart indicated by the 4th House is occupied by a malefic Rāśi (Rashi). Kumbha is complete delusion and can addict one to psychotropic substances. With this inherent set-up, all that is needed is for the Grahas to occupy vulnerable positions in the nativity for things to truly reflect the cards dealt at the commencement.

However, today, we are only looking at the Gocara/ transit of planets and the first thing to note is that Cañdra (Chandra)/ the transit Moon, the harbinger of news and events, is in the 8th Bhāva in Maraṇa Kāraka Sthāna (Marana Karaka Sthana). This indicates a death like suffering in the emotional cognizance of Dutt and it is almost as if the rug has been swept away from under his feet.

Śukra (Shukra) in exaltation has indicated that one of its significations, namely a film star, would rise and take center-stage and it could well be that the reduction of the sentence from six, a number ruled by Śukra, to five years is a result of the exaltation of transit Venus in Pisces/ Mīna Rāśi (Meena Rashi). It could also be due to the Gocara Parivartana/ exchange between Śukra (Shukra) and Gurū (Guru) which is happening at this time.

The basic problem for Dutt was that the Judge indicated by Gurū (Guru) is in Vṛṣabha Rāśi (Vrishabha Rashi)/ Taurus in the setting sign right opposite the Lagna-there can be little doubt that with the judgment coming today, Dutt was sure to suffer like the setting sun. Tulā Rāśi (Tula Rashi) associated with the film industry is afflicted by the Śrāddha Yoga (Shraddha Yoga) of Śani and Rāhu (Shani and Rahu) and brings great shock and melancholy.

The transit Moon is smashed and cursed by the Graha Dṛṣṭi (Graha Drishti)/ planetary aspects of Maṅgala and Rāhu (Mangala and Rahu). Even Venus is combust and associated with two malefics.

Not only is the placement of the Moon in the 8th House afflicted in Śrāpa (Shrapa) very damaging for the occurences in Vṛṣabha Rāśi (Vrishabha Rashi) but there is also a Navāmśa (Navamsha) Parivartana between Gurū and Rāhu (Guru and Rahu) forming Chāṅdāla Doṣa (Chandala Dosha). There is no escape then in such a scenario.

Note-It does appear that Sanjay Dutt has a Baṅdhana Yoga (Bandhana Yoga) on his Lagna in the radix/ natal horoscope, with an equal number of planets in the 2nd and the 12th Bhāvas (Bhavas) from the Lagna.

A BRIEF LOOK AT THE TWELVE LAGNAS/ ASCENDANTS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

People are often curious at the beginning of their astrological quest, to know something of the various facets pertaining to their ‘chart’; in other words, they wish to evaluate the basic propensities pertaining to their Lagnas and their Rashi/ Lagna Kundalis (Kundalis). Also, the Chandra Lagna itself and Gochar furnish other popular areas of curiosity. Lagna is the sign rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of birth and is occupied by a Rāśi (Rashi)/ Vedic sign. The average duration of a sign rising in the Lagna/ Ascendant is two hours and for this reason the twelve Rāśis cover the twenty-four hours duration of the solar day. ( Basic Jyotiṣa principles can be accessed by clicking this link ) Lagna imbues a person with individuality and therefore denotes the self and the personality of the person. It is the first house or Bhāva of the chart and is the commencement point of any horoscopic study. We cannot forget that in all the divisional charts as well there is a Lagna/ asc

Yanavanta/ Annapurna/ Vahana Yoga of Venus and Moon in Scorpio-8th October, 2013

The Yānavaṅta/ Yanavanta/ Annapūrṇā/ Annapurna/ Vāhana/ Vahana Yoga is formed when Venus and Moon/ Śukra and Cañdra/ Shukra and Chandra associate to form a Yoga in the Vedic horoscope; by Vedic horoscope is meant the Rāśi Cakra/ Rashi Chakra and the Varga Chakra as well, the latter being the divisional charts governing specific areas of life such as marriage (Navāmśa/ Navamsha), career (Daśāmśa/ Dashamsha), children (Saptāmśa/ Saptamsha), parents and elders (Dwādaśāmśa/ Dwadashamsha), comforts and luxuries (Ṣodaśāmśa/ Shodashamsha), spirituality and worship (Vimśāmśa/ Vimshamsha), education (Siddhāmśa/ Siddhamsha) etc. Let us consider the immediate meanings of the various terms used to indicate the Yoga formed due to the association of Venus and the Moon. The term Yānavaṅta/ Yanavanta indicates the charioteer or one guiding the vehicle of humanity or a group or individuals. It indicates leadership and the capacity to show the way to the multitudes and to guide and mould their live

A METHODOLOGY FOR VEDIC CHART INTERPRETATION

The following is an attempt to lay down a general method to conduct professional chart analysis. It appears to have worked well for the author in his practice. Notably though, it need not be the best way to interpret charts and the astrologer must find her own way when it comes to developing a structure with which to unravel any given chart. Some of the more general features of interpretation are being omitted for fear of the paper becoming unwieldy but certain crucial aspects of Jyotish interpretation are being explained since these are not very widely used. The author is indebted to the works of Pt. Sanjay Rath, author, scholar and Jyotish Guru of Sri Jagannath Center. It is through assimilating the writings of Pt. Rath that the author has been able to progress from the fundamentals of Jyotish to a somewhat deeper understanding. ARUDHA PADAS: The houses as reckoned from the Lagna/ Ascendant reveal the truth about the native. This is metaphysical reality as distinguished from precipit
