Transit Venus/ Śukra/ Shukra has moved to Scorpio from its own sign Libra. Even though the planet had been in its own sign it had been conjoined Śani and Rāhu/ Shani and Rahu, two dire natural malefics. These two malefics have been afflicting Libra and with it relationships, marriage and sexuality. India has witnessed the Nirbhaya gangrape incident and with it a sudden upsurge in the reporting of sexual crimes. This reached such proportions that a Criminal Law Amendment Bill had to be passed. When Venus joined the malefics, the significator became similarly afflicted.
Now Venus has moved out of Libra into Scorpio. The focus of our relationships, love, attraction, romance and aesthetics has altered. Whereas we are more active with Venus in Libra about these significations, Vṛṣcika/ Vrishchika/ Scorpio is slower and deeper.
