Blessings Galore-Moon in Gemini/ Cañdra/ Chandra in Mithuna Rāśi/ Rashi During 9th to 11th June, 2013

Enjoy.

The Vedic/ Hindu/ Indian astrology Gochara/ transits reveal that the Moon in Gemini (Mithuna Rāśi/ Rashi in Hindi and Saṅskṛt) is joined Gurū/ Guru/ Jupiter, Śukra/ Shukra/ Venus and Budha/ Mercury. Four natural benefics have joined in a sign of Mercury leading to a blessed atmosphere where hope spirals and ambition swirls. The Rāśi Bhaviṣya/ Rashi Bhavishya is to be interpreted by the Vedic astrologer keeping this core in mind.

The transit chart for Simha Lagna/ Leo Ascendant sign looks something like this-

There is a Gajakeśarī Yoga formed with Gurū/ Guru/ Jupiter and Cañdra/ Chandra where fame, growth, understanding and perspective accrue. There is Vāhana Yoga with Śukra/ Shukra/ Venus and Cañdra/ Chandra/ Moon leading to a love of relaxation, comfort, luxury, vehicles, and other such. Dwi-Gurū Yoga results from the joining of Jupiter and Venus and the combined blessings of knowledge of matters both worldly and other-worldly comes. There is Gurū-Śiṣya Yoga (Guru-Shishya) where the teachings are understood and imparted.

Rāhu/ Rahu aspects and plans are afoot in the individual mind. These could be acceptable but follow the sage advice of Jupiter-priest, preceptor, astrologer, advisor, lawyer etc. in case of any doubt as to the sagacity or suitability of the plans.

A BRIEF LOOK AT THE TWELVE LAGNAS/ ASCENDANTS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

People are often curious at the beginning of their astrological quest, to know something of the various facets pertaining to their ‘chart’; in other words, they wish to evaluate the basic propensities pertaining to their Lagnas and their Rashi/ Lagna Kundalis (Kundalis). Also, the Chandra Lagna itself and Gochar furnish other popular areas of curiosity. Lagna is the sign rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of birth and is occupied by a Rāśi (Rashi)/ Vedic sign. The average duration of a sign rising in the Lagna/ Ascendant is two hours and for this reason the twelve Rāśis cover the twenty-four hours duration of the solar day. ( Basic Jyotiṣa principles can be accessed by clicking this link ) Lagna imbues a person with individuality and therefore denotes the self and the personality of the person. It is the first house or Bhāva of the chart and is the commencement point of any horoscopic study. We cannot forget that in all the divisional charts as well there is a Lagna/...

Transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in 2025 in Vedic Astrology

Spring and summer of 2025 will be marked by notable shifts in transit of the slow-moving planets, Guru, Shani and Rahu-Ketu.  Important transits have the capacity to modify the results of the Dasha. In Vedic astrology/ Jyotisha, therefore, the two phenomena have to be examined together.  Jupiter/ Guru will move to Mithuna Rashi/ Gemini on May 14, 2025 and immediately thereafter the Nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu also transit to Kumbha/ Aquarius and Simha/ Leo respectively. Shani/ Saturn will move to Meena Rashi/ Pisces on March 29, 2025.  Broadly speaking, in highly beneficial Dashas, positive transits lead to an icing on the cake situation, while negative transits can dampen the results or even negate them for a while. The effect can be construed accordingly for adverse Dashas, and so on.  It is well-known that Shani is the only Graha who gives added difficulties when He is strong. But a weak malefic is not to be desired because He becomes far more malefic. In oth...
