Vedic/ Indian/ Hindu Astrology Daily Horoscope Predictions for May 24 to May 26, 2013

9S4N3EFX63JJ

The Moon will move to Vṛṣcika Rāśi/ Vrishchika Rashi/ Scorpio during the evening of 24th May, 2013. This is a full Moon of the Pūrṇimā/ Poornima Tithi and is full of rays. The mind is utterly illuminated and bright and yet it will be wide awake and fresh in a place of great depth and secrecy and potential for transformation, all these latter attributes indicated by the sign of Scorpio, the natural 8th House of the zodiac.

We have all experienced the communications from distant lands over the past few days with the Moon in Libra/ Tulā Rāśi/ Tula Rashi with the foreigner Rāhu and the distant old man Saturn. Some of these communications have been from people suffering illness and melancholy. Our own minds were full of thoughts and vibrant and there was a fair bit of lightness of being around.

Now, our emotions and feelings are submerged in depths where we have little control over what happens. Do you associate deep waters of the ocean with ease of navigation and the picnic basket. That is correct.

The chart for the entry of the Moon into sidereal Scorpio is given below for reference-

The aspects of Sun, Mercury and Venus are very strong from Taurus/ Vṛṣabha Rāśi/ Vrishabha Rashi and therefore conservatism in resources and authority, love of pleasure and sensuality and the finer things of life and also communications will be heavy influences on the receptive humbled mind during these two days of the Moon's sojourn in Scorpio.

Gurū/ Guru/ Jupiter and Maṅgala/ Mangala/ Mars also aspect and Gurū even while moving out of Taurus will grant functional and pragmatic wisdom to the mind through the Gajakeśarī/ Gajakesari Yoga. Mars' aspect is not sincere but it is there nonetheless.

The Lagna and the 7th from it are both Satya Pītha/ Peetha-the seats of truth and so the truth of the travels of the mind to the depths of Scorpio is also that in interaction it will be like Taurus with two Gurūs/ Gurus, a Śiṣya/ Shishya/ disciple, and the King himself. A great time to simply receive all these magnificent and abundant inputs.

Transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in 2025 in Vedic Astrology

Spring and summer of 2025 will be marked by notable shifts in transit of the slow-moving planets, Guru, Shani and Rahu-Ketu.  Important transits have the capacity to modify the results of the Dasha. In Vedic astrology/ Jyotisha, therefore, the two phenomena have to be examined together.  Jupiter/ Guru will move to Mithuna Rashi/ Gemini on May 14, 2025 and immediately thereafter the Nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu also transit to Kumbha/ Aquarius and Simha/ Leo respectively. Shani/ Saturn will move to Meena Rashi/ Pisces on March 29, 2025.  Broadly speaking, in highly beneficial Dashas, positive transits lead to an icing on the cake situation, while negative transits can dampen the results or even negate them for a while. The effect can be construed accordingly for adverse Dashas, and so on.  It is well-known that Shani is the only Graha who gives added difficulties when He is strong. But a weak malefic is not to be desired because He becomes far more malefic. In oth...

A BRIEF LOOK AT THE TWELVE LAGNAS/ ASCENDANTS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

People are often curious at the beginning of their astrological quest, to know something of the various facets pertaining to their ‘chart’; in other words, they wish to evaluate the basic propensities pertaining to their Lagnas and their Rashi/ Lagna Kundalis (Kundalis). Also, the Chandra Lagna itself and Gochar furnish other popular areas of curiosity. Lagna is the sign rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of birth and is occupied by a Rāśi (Rashi)/ Vedic sign. The average duration of a sign rising in the Lagna/ Ascendant is two hours and for this reason the twelve Rāśis cover the twenty-four hours duration of the solar day. ( Basic Jyotiṣa principles can be accessed by clicking this link ) Lagna imbues a person with individuality and therefore denotes the self and the personality of the person. It is the first house or Bhāva of the chart and is the commencement point of any horoscopic study. We cannot forget that in all the divisional charts as well there is a Lagna/...

The Forthcoming Transit/ Gochar of Saturn/ Śani to Libra/ Tulā Rashi on 15th November, 2011

At the present time, when Saturn/ Shani is transiting Virgo/ Kanya Rashi according to the siderial zodiac, we have witnessed many changes, some of them being related to the disturbances in the Prithvi Tattwa, as shown by the earthquake in Japan and the consequent Tsunami. Mercury/ Budh has been debilitated in Pisces/ Meena Rashi at this time but it is equally important to note that Virgo/ Kanya is also a Prithvi Tattwa Rashi or a sign embodying the Earth element. The trine of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn/ Vrishabh, Kanya and Makar relates to Artha/ financial and monetary element relating to the trine of attainment in work, the accumulation of wealth and the daily work and adversities to be encountered. Shani in Kanya has revealed some of the realities associated with this sign by pressuring the matters associated with it. The chart for the transit of Saturn Implications of the Saturn Transit in Virgo in Virgo is given below:   Saturn is also retrograde and aspects the debilitated M...
